The IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee (LTSC) is launching a new Open Source Subgroup, and all interested colleagues are invited to join the kickoff meeting:

About the subgroup:

  • Provides a space for the IEEE community to collaborate on Open Source contributions.
  • Reconnects the community of practice around xAPI and related standards.
  • Supports projects such as Persistent URLs, adoption guidance, and best practice/example creation.
  • Enables cross-standard solutions in collaboration with efforts like the Total Learning Architecture (TLA) study group.
This is a chance to help shape the agenda and contribute to meaningful Open Source work that connects standards and practice.
