Experience You Phase 2: Final Report. Transforming Experience into Opportunity Through AI-Enabled Learning and Employment Records
Org: U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation with Education Design Lab (a T3 Innovation Network collaboration) · Published: 12 June 2026 · Free: yes (16-page PDF)

This report closes out the second phase of Experience You, which started in January 2024 and moved AI skills extraction from proof of concept into field tests with nine partner organizations. The use cases included career counseling for people skilled through other routes, state reemployment services, incumbent workers organizing their skills, and turning past education history into LERs. Partners included TalentPass, iQ4, Learning Economy, WGU, Workbay (Open Badges 3.0 credentials), and SkillsIQ, which converted Australia's national skills framework into Rich Skill Descriptors. Each pilot was judged on fit with existing systems, ethics and data control, measurable impact, design, and whether it could scale. It is a useful field report on how open credential standards and AI combine in practice, though it is a funder's summary rather than a research study.
